Brandon Mason, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Mason was born in Michigan, spent part of his early childhood in the US Virgin Islands, and was raised primarily in the metro-Atlanta area. He attended Auburn University and earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology in 2013, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University. After graduation, Dr. Mason completed a rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO, where he trained alongside specialists and general practitioners. He then practiced as a general practitioner in the Denver area before being accepted into the Small Animal Internal Medicine (SAIM) residency program at Iowa State University. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Mason and his wife returned to Northern Colorado, where they have since settled.

Dr. Mason developed a passion for internal medicine during his internship. His professional interests include infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and endoscopy, though like many internists, he maintains a broad interest in managing complex and multifaceted cases.

Outside of work, Dr. Mason and his wife stay busy with their two dogs, Tulip and Whiskey, and two cats, Ollie and Opal. They enjoy exploring Colorado’s trails, competing in running races and triathlons, and snowboarding in the winter. They also enjoy traveling, both domestically and internationally, when time allows.
