Sarah Love, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM), DACVSMR
Dr. Love graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000. After completing a rotating internship, she returned to Minnesota for a small animal internal medicine residency. She became board certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine and later received board certification by the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2016. Her work experience includes specialty practices, teaching at the University of Alaska to both undergraduate and professional students, and currently owning Sport Dog Specialty Medicine in Colorado, where she combines canine sports medicine with small animal internal medicine. Dr. Love's clinical and research interests include gastrointestinal disease, metabolism and nutrition, myopathies and neuromuscular diseases, athletic conditioning of canine athletes, abdominal and musculoskeletal ultrasound, and the use of regenerative therapies for musculoskeletal disease.
