Todd Archer DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM)
Dr. Archer graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1995 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked in the paper industry for 5 years before returning to school and then graduating from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. He then completed a 1-year rotating small animal internship, a 3-year residency in small animal internal medicine, and Master of Science, all at Mississippi State University. Dr. Archer obtained board-certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2011. He stayed on as a faculty member at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine until 2023, when he and his family moved back home to be closer to family, and he joined a specialty private practice in Tennessee which is where he currently works. Dr. Archer’s areas of special interest include immune-mediated, hematology, endocrine, and respiratory diseases. When he is not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his family (amazing wife, 4 kids, and a 14 year old toy poodle named Lulu) as well as fishing.
