Specialty Service Availability & Turnaround Times

We know timely specialty support matters. Here’s what you can expect when you submit a case to DVM STAT:

Radiology (radiographs, CT)
• Average turnaround: ~4 hours
• Guaranteed: < 24 hours

Ultrasound & Echocardiogram Consults
• Routine cases: < 24 hours
• STAT consults available 8 AM–6 PM EST, 7 days a week

Internal Medicine (IM)
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours
• STAT IM consults available 8 AM–6 PM EST, Monday–Friday

Emergency & Critical Care (ECC)
• 24/7/365 STAT availability
• Submit online or call our STAT line for immediate phone support
• Emailed report provided within 2 hours
• STAT consults available for any acute or unstable case—walk-ins, IM cases, anesthetic complications and more

Cardiology
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours
• STAT Cardiology consults available 8 AM–6 PM EST, 7 days a week

Oncology
• Phone consults available by appointment
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours
• STAT Oncology consults available 8 AM–6 PM EST, 7 days a week

Neurology
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours
• STAT Neurology consults available 8 AM–6 PM EST, 7 days a week

Dermatology
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours

Surgery
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours

Clinical Pathology
• Routine asynchronous consults available 7 days a week: <24 hours

Billing Policy

Monthly invoicing

  • You’ll receive one itemized invoice each month sent to your billing email.

Payment timing

  • Invoices are due upon receipt.

  • If still unpaid after 30 days, we automatically charge the card on file (no late fee).

Late balances

  • After 45 days past due, the account is temporarily paused until payment is completed.

  • A 10% monthly late fee only applies if we are unable to process payment.

  • Credit card (recommended)

  • ACH

  • Check

Tip: Keeping a card or ACH autopay on file prevents interruptions and late fees.

We designed this to be low-administration for your team — no deposits, no subscriptions, and no commitment beyond the cases you submit.
